February 2015 minutes

Board Meeting minutes of February 16, 2015

Chairman Monn called the meeting to order at 7pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI

Present:  Chairman Monn, Supervisor Steve Nielsen, Maintenance Kevin Finder and Clerk-Treasurer Valerie Windsor.

Motion to approve January minutes as mailed was made by R. Monn, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Treasurer’s Report:                Balance as of January 1, 2015                               9,242.16

                                                   January Receipts                                                  206,594.83

                                                   Total                                                                       215,836.99

                                                   Less January Disbursements                              185,026.22

                                                   Book Balance as of January 31 2015                  30,810.77

Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report as mailed was made by R. Monn, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by R. Monn, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Maintenance Report:  Miners Safety Class on March 9th, Kevin will be at that all day.  Brunkow Hardwood will get a hold of Rich later in the summer to see about getting a road use permit.   Someone has been putting large bundles of plastic in the recycle dumpsters, Kevin will check on whether this should continue or if they should go in bags in the garbage.   Question on the length of time it takes for the ambulance to get to an emergency call.  Certain situations are currently being dealt with.

Chairman Report:  Resident complaint about bags to recycle attendant, it is being handled.  Rich will see Bill Reusch about updating our sign by the dumpsters.

Supervisor Reports:  None

Clerk-Treasurer Report:  We cannot get a network extender without internet connection at the shop.  Rich suggested we get internet at the shop because it is our first place to go in case of disaster/ emergency and many people rely on their phones/internet.  Motion was made that we get internet and network extender at the shop by R. Monn, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.

Committee Report:   Plan Commission:  None

Fire/ Ambulance:  5 Bugles was present at that meeting, their quote was 2 to 2.6 million depending on what they want for sure.  Design Built is going to give estimates as well.

Public Comment:  None

New Business:  None

Motion to adjourn meeting was made by R. Monn, 2nd by S. Nielsen.  Approved.
